Carly Rae Jepsen is back with news of her next album. Day and Night will be released on September 18 via Interscope. Here’s everything we know so far.
How long has it been since Carly Rae Jepsen’s last album?
Day and Night will mark the pop singer’s first effort since 2022’s The Loneliest Time and its 2023 companion piece The Loveliest Time. Last year, she reissued 2015’s E•mo•tion in a deluxe edition that included four previously unreleased tracks.
What does the album cover look like?

How many songs are on the new album?
It’s a double album spanning 24 tracks, divided into two 12-song halves.
What’s the idea behind the two discs?
“Day is organic and raw, with live instrumentation and hints of ’70s-inspired psychedelic pop,” according to a press release. “Night is exploratory and intense, shifting into a sleek, synth-driven world of dance-pop.” Day is reportedly more inspired by ’70s psychedelic pop, while Night is focused on the dancefloor. As a whole, it’s “ultimately about finding the poetry: a conscious decision to lean into love and possibility, while inviting fans to witness her evolution and the strength she’s found along the way.”
Who worked on the new album?
Collaborators on Day and Night include Tavish Crowe, Kyle Shearer, Nate Cyphert, and Cole M.G.N.
Have any singles from the album been released?
