Fellows will be recognized at NUTRITION 2026, July 25–28 in National Harbor, MD
The American Society for Nutrition (ASN) is proud to announce the 2026 Excellence in Nutrition Fellows of ASN (FASN), recognizing 69 distinguished members for their ongoing contributions to the field and sustained engagement in the nutrition community.
This recognition program honors outstanding nutrition professionals who are 10 or more years past their terminal degree and have been an ASN Scientist, Clinician, or Professional member for five or more years. Fellows have demonstrated significant impact in their respective career paths, as well as meaningful service to the Society. To reflect the diversity of the field, selection criteria were developed for research-focused, translational, and combined career trajectories.
The FASN designation is a mark of excellence in the field of nutrition, signifying recipients’ contributions to advancing nutrition science and practice, as well as their commitment to the highest standards of the profession.
“One of my priorities as ASN President has been to champion the professional growth and career advancement of our members across the nutrition workforce,” said Naïma Moustaïd-Moussa, PhD, DFASN, FTOS, FAHA, FNAI. “This year’s Excellence in Nutrition Fellows represent a remarkable group of leaders whose contributions to research, clinical care, education, policy, and mentorship continue to strengthen and advance the field of nutrition. ASN is proud to recognize their achievements and service to the Society.”
