Mezzacorona was founded in 1904 by a group of Trentino growers who came together to form a cooperative dedicated to wines that express the character of their land. The original cooperative has since grown to include over 1,500 members but the mission remains the same: a commitment to sustainability, tradition, and quality.

Mezzacorona has a wine for every occasion or mood, and no matter which you choose, the flavors, history, and quality of Trentino will be in your glass.

    Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio

The star of Mezzacorona’s line of wines, perfect for everyday enjoyment with light lunches and dinners, this Pinot Grigio  is ideal  for parties. Serve as an aperitif or with a wide variety of hors d’oeuvres. With a long list of awards and spots on the Best Buy lists, Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio is fresh and fragrant, like the mountain springs that give it life and flavor.

    Ventessa

Ventessa is one of Mezzacorona’s most innovative styles, shaped by the Alpine wind that moves through Trentino’s vineyards. That breeze helps the grapes ripen faster without raising sugar levels, allowing flavor, freshness, and aroma to develop while keeping alcohol naturally low. At just 9 percent alcohol and 90 calories per glass, the Ventessa line — available in white, red, and rosé — offers lighter options that still deliver character, making them especially appealing for aperitivo, casual lunches, and effortless everyday enjoyment. Together, the wines show Mezzacorona’s ability to offer variety without losing a clear sense of place.

Ventessa Pinot Grigio brings notes of wildflowers, honeydew, and peach with a bright acidity that works beautifully with aperitivo, seafood, and lighter fare.

Ventessa Pinot Grigio Rosé has lively flavors of clementine, pink grapefruit, and a subtle hint of strawberry, making it a natural choice for warm-weather gatherings, appetizers, and festive occasions.

Ventessa Red, made from Schiava and Teroldego, is soft and fruit-driven, with blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry flavors that shine when served slightly chilled with charcuterie, weeknight meals, or informal entertaining.

    Domenica

Domenica Pinot Grigio represents Mezzacorona’s most premium expression of the variety. It is sourced from sustainably farmed vineyards in the Trentino DOC and reflects the mountain environment. Warm daylight and cool nights help build complexity and preserve aromatics in the grapes, which are protected by the traditional Pergola Trentina system, hand-harvested, and carefully selected. Its Sustainable Quality of Pinot Grigio Trentino DOC certification further reinforces the wine’s authenticity, craftsmanship, and environmental commitment.

In the glass, Domenica is a fuller-bodied expression of Pinot Grigio, which shows aromas of chamomile, subtle florality, and minerality balanced by vivid acidity. The style is polished enough for dinner parties and more elevated occasions, yet approachable enough to enjoy on its own. It also pairs easily with creamy sauces, mushroom dishes, and hearty fish, adding depth and refinement to Mezzacorona’s diverse range.

    DiNotte

DiNotte Red offers a modern take on regional grapes, blending Teroldego and Marzemino with a touch of Merlot. Velvety and rich, it shows red currant, blackberry, and blueberry flavors layered with hints of vanilla and cocoa. Grown in a valley beneath the Dolomites, where limestone warmth meets the cooling influence of the Adige River, it delivers both depth and freshness. A richer profile makes it ideal for cozy dinners, evening entertaining, and occasions that call for a more distinctive red.

Mezzacorona’s Pinot Grigio, Ventessa, Domenica, and DiNotte highlight the diversity of the portfolio and the quality possible in Trentino. From lower-alcohol whites and a lively rosé to a mountain-grown premium Pinot Grigio and a deeper, more distinctive red, the range offers something for many tastes and occasions. Whether the setting is a relaxed lunch, a festive gathering, or a more intimate dinner, Mezzacorona delivers versatility, character, and a strong sense of place.
